Refund Policy
Effective: 22 May 2026
We want you to be confident that glyphmd is the right tool for your work. If it isn’t, we’ll give your money back.
1. The window
You can request a full refund for any reason within thirty (30) days of the purchase date, regardless of whether you activated the license or how often you used the application during that period. This window goes beyond the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal applicable to EU consumers, which remains unaffected.
2. Who can request
Refunds are available to the original buyer — the person or entity whose email is on the Paddle invoice for the purchase. If you bought the license as a gift or for a colleague, the request still has to come from the buyer’s email address.
3. How to request
Send an email to support@matt-b.ch with:
- your Paddle order ID (it’s in the receipt email Paddle sent you), or
- your license key (starts with
GLMD-), or - the email address you used at checkout.
Any one of those is enough for us to find the order. A brief line about why you’re asking helps us improve the product, but it is optional and never a condition of the refund.
4. How we handle it
We confirm your request within two (2) business days and issue the refund through Paddle to your original payment method. Paddle usually settles the payout within five (5) business days; banks and card networks can take a few additional days to post the credit on your statement.
Once a refund is issued, the underlying license is deactivated. The application will switch back to the trial (if eligible) or to the unactivated state on its next launch and license revalidation.
5. What this policy does not cover
- Chargebacks — please contact us first. Filing a chargeback before requesting a refund triggers fees and an investigation that takes weeks; a direct refund is faster for everyone. Repeated chargeback fraud may result in license revocation.
- Manifest abuse — buying, refunding, and rebuying the same product more than three times within twelve months is a pattern we may decline further refunds for.
- Third-party charges — costs incurred with your own external AI provider (e.g. Anthropic or OpenAI API usage) are billed by that provider and are outside our control. We cannot refund those.
6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under Swiss law or, if you are a consumer in the European Union, under EU consumer-protection law. Where statutory rights give you a stronger protection than this policy, the statutory rule applies.
